BTSE.ID currently requires all users to enable Google Authenticator (2FA) to enhance account security and prevent unauthorized access. However, you might encounter issues when activating or using Google Authenticator. Here are some solutions you can try:
During Google Authenticator Activation
Save your backup code (setup key)
When you first activate Google Authenticator, be sure to note and securely store your setup key. This code is essential for recovering access if the app is deleted or your device is lost.
Sync your device's time
If you receive a “wrong code” notification, check that your device’s date and time are set to automatic. Enable auto time settings on your smartphone.
Double-check all OTP codes (SMS, email, and GA)
Enter all verification codes (from SMS, email, and Google Authenticator) within the given time limit, as each code has a short validity window.
Try again if it fails
If the issue persists, remove your BTSE.ID account from the Google Authenticator app, then rescan the latest QR code. Once successfully linked, do not delete the app or the account to avoid login or withdrawal issues.

If you get a “wrong code” error while logging in or making a withdrawal, try these tips:
Make sure all codes are correct
Carefully enter the codes received via SMS, email, and Google Authenticator. Remember, your GA code changes every 30 seconds.
Sync time in the GA app
Open the Google Authenticator app > Settings > Time correction for codes > Sync now. If successful, you’ll see the message “Time already correct.”
Use automatic time settings on your device
Ensure your device is using automatic time or set to the correct local time zone.
Lost Access to Google Authenticator?
If you’ve lost access due to the app being deleted or your device being lost, you can request a 2FA reset.
