Completing your identity verification (KYC – Know Your Customer) is an important step to start buying and selling crypto assets on BTSE.ID. This process is similar to opening a bank account and can be done easily through the BTSE.ID website or mobile app.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing the KYC process via the app:

Log In and Start the Verification Process

Once you’ve successfully logged into your BTSE.ID account, tap the “Start Verification” button. Then, go to the “Personal Information” menu.

Select Your Nationality and Agree to Terms & Conditions

In the next step, you’ll be asked to choose your nationality. After that, read and agree to the terms and conditions to proceed.

Fill in Your Personal Information

Enter your personal details as they appear on your identification document (KTP for Indonesian citizens, or KITAS and Passport for foreign nationals). Make sure to accurately fill out your full name, place and date of birth, and source of income. Click “Submit KYC” to continue.

Take a Selfie and Upload Your ID Document

Next, you’ll be asked to take a live selfie through the app. After that, upload a photo of your ID document (KTP/KITAS) that matches the personal data you’ve entered.

Verification Process

Your KYC data will be reviewed by the BTSE.ID team within a maximum of 1 business day. Be sure to check your email and app notifications to track your verification status.

Additional Tips:

• Use original documents – no photocopies or digitally edited versions.
