Can I Make a Deposit Using a PayLater App?

Currently, BTSE Indonesia does not support the use of PayLater or similar financing facilities as a source of funds for fiat deposits.

Fiat deposits on BTSE Indonesia must be made using the payment methods available on the platform and from a source of funds that complies with applicable requirements.

Why Can't PayLater Be Used?

BTSE Indonesia applies this requirement as part of its risk management and transaction security measures, as well as the implementation of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) principles.

As a provider of digital financial asset trading services, including crypto assets, BTSE Indonesia operates within the regulatory and supervisory framework of the Financial Services Authority (OJK)OJK Regulation (POJK) Number 27 of 2024 regulates the trading of digital financial assets, including crypto assets, covering areas such as governance and consumer protection. This regulation was subsequently updated through POJK Number 23 of 2025.

Therefore, PayLater, loans, or similar financing facilities cannot be used as a source of funds for fiat deposits on BTSE Indonesia.

Available Deposit Methods

Customers can make deposits using the payment methods available on the Fiat Deposit page of BTSE Indonesia. The available payment methods may change from time to time and will be displayed directly on the deposit page.

If you experience any issues when making a deposit, please contact BTSE Indonesia Customer Support and provide the relevant transaction information so that the matter can be investigated further.
