Hello BTSE.ID users!
At BTSE.ID, you can access your account using either SMS verification or Google Authenticator. But what should you do if you’re not receiving the OTP via SMS, even though your phone number is active and registered?
Here are some common causes and solutions you can try:
Common Causes & Solutions:
1. Network congestion
Try again in a few minutes, or wait at least 30 minutes before requesting the code again.
2. Weak or unstable signal
Turn on airplane mode for a few seconds, then turn it off to refresh your connection. Alternatively, restart your device.
3. Too many requests in a short time
Our system may temporarily limit code requests if too many are made in a short period. If this happens, please wait up to 24 hours before trying again.
4. Blocked by security software
Some security apps or phone settings may block OTP SMS. Check your security settings or temporarily disable third-party apps that may interfere.
5. Unpaid mobile bill or full message storage
Ensure your mobile service is active and that your device has enough storage to receive new messages.
6. Outdated BTSE.ID app version
Update the BTSE.ID app via Google Play Store or App Store to ensure optimal functionality.
Request SMS 2FA Reset
If you're still not receiving the OTP, you can request an SMS 2FA reset. After completing the reset process, you'll be able to register a new phone number to receive SMS verification codes.
We highly recommend enabling Google Authenticator 2FA as an additional layer of account security.
Your account security is our priority.
