Having Trouble Receiving OTP SMS or Is Your Registered Phone Number Inactive? Here’s the Solution!

Are you having trouble receiving your OTP code via SMS? Or perhaps the phone number you registered is no longer active or has been deactivated?

Don’t worry! You can reset your SMS 2FA settings to use a new, active phone number.

Why Am I Not Receiving the OTP Code ?

OTP codes are usually sent in real time to your registered phone number. However, if you don’t receive the code within a certain time, try requesting it again periodically (avoid making too many requests in a short period). Wait at least 30 minutes before trying again.

Want to Switch to a New Phone Number ?

Absolutely! You can submit a request to reset your SMS 2FA via our Self-Service feature at  https://support.btse.id
Please fill out the form according to the instructions provided. We also recommend reading the guidelines before you begin.

Required Documents:

  • A photo of your original ID (not a photocopy or edited image)

  • A selfie holding:

    • Your original ID

    • A handwritten note that says:

       "Reset SMS/Phone Number on BTSE.ID"
       Full Name
       Date of Request
       Signature

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • The reset process usually takes up to 1 working day (1x24 hours)

  • All documents must be original and unaltered

  • You will receive a notification once your request is approved

  • After a successful reset, you can register your new phone number via the BTSE.ID app or website

  • For security reasons, the withdrawal feature will be temporarily disabled for 3 working days (3x24 hours) after the reset
