The Self-Service service is provided by PT Aset Kripto Internasional (“BTSE Indonesia”) to facilitate users in submitting requests related to account security, including but not limited to Google Authenticator reset, SMS OTP reset, account activation, and email changes on its platform, BTSE ID.
By submitting a request through the Self-Service service, you represent that you are the lawful owner of the BTSE ID account associated with the request. You also understand that each request will be subject to an identity verification process in accordance with the applicable terms, policies, and procedures of BTSE Indonesia.
Before submitting a request, the Applicant must read and understand all terms, requirements, statements, and risks set out on this page.
By proceeding with the application and providing your consent, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all of the following terms:
1. General Terms
The Applicant represents that they are the lawful owner of the BTSE ID account registered in their name.
The Self-Service service is provided to facilitate requests related to account security, including Google Authenticator reset, SMS OTP reset, account activation, and email changes.
The Applicant must read, understand, and comply with all applicable requirements and terms before submitting a request.
2. Accuracy and Validity of Information
All data, information, and documents submitted by the Applicant must be true, complete, accurate, and consist of original documents belonging to the Applicant.
The Applicant represents that the request is submitted knowingly, in good faith, and without coercion from any party.
The Applicant is fully responsible for the validity and accuracy of all information and documents submitted.
3. Risks and Applicant Responsibilities
The Applicant understands that the Self-Service process involves account security measures that may affect access to and use of the BTSE ID account.
The Applicant understands and accepts the risks that may arise from the process, including but not limited to loss of account access, unauthorized use of the account, or financial loss.
The Applicant is fully responsible for any actions carried out through the account after the Self-Service process has been completed.
The Applicant is responsible for any actions or activities carried out outside the applicable Self-Service terms and procedures.
4. Release of Liability and Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Applicant releases BTSE Indonesia, including its Directors, Board of Commissioners, employees, and agents, from any demands, claims, losses, or legal consequences arising from the invalidity or inaccuracy of the identity, data, or documents submitted by the Applicant.
The Applicant agrees to indemnify and hold BTSE Indonesia harmless from any costs, losses, demands, or third-party claims arising from the Applicant's violation of the Self-Service terms.
The provisions of this section shall apply to the extent permitted under applicable laws and regulations.
5. Applicant Obligations
The Applicant must fulfill all applicable requirements and follow the Self-Service procedures established by BTSE Indonesia.
The Applicant must provide additional information or documents if required for the verification process.
The failure of BTSE Indonesia to enforce any provision on one occasion shall not be deemed a waiver of BTSE Indonesia's right to enforce such provision on any other occasion.
6. Personal Data Protection
BTSE Indonesia will process the personal data and documents submitted by the Applicant in accordance with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection and BTSE Indonesia's applicable privacy policy, including obligations to maintain the confidentiality and security of data and to limit its use to account verification and security purposes.
Data and documents submitted during the Self-Service process will be retained in accordance with the retention period established by BTSE Indonesia and applicable laws and regulations.
7. Verification Process and Decision
Each Self-Service application will undergo a verification process in accordance with the applicable procedures.
BTSE Indonesia reserves the right to request additional information or documents if necessary to complete the verification process.
An application may be rejected if the Applicant is unable to fulfill the identity verification requirements or other applicable requirements.
Decisions regarding Self-Service applications will be based on the verification results and the applicable terms and policies of BTSE Indonesia.
Once a security feature reset request has been approved and successfully completed, the withdrawal feature will be temporarily disabled for 24 (twenty-four) hours, commencing from the time the reset request is approved.
The withdrawal restriction referred to above will be automatically applied by the system as a security measure to protect the Applicant's account and assets from the risk of unauthorized access or transactions.
During the restriction period, deposit and trading features will remain available, unless other restrictions apply to the Applicant's account.
The withdrawal restriction cannot be manually removed, expedited, or lifted during the 24 (twenty-four)-hour restriction period.
8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If a Self-Service application is rejected or the Applicant disagrees with the verification results, the Applicant may submit an objection or complaint through the official customer service channels of BTSE Indonesia.
If the complaint cannot be resolved internally, the Applicant may pursue the dispute resolution mechanism as provided under the applicable BTSE Indonesia Terms and Conditions.
9. Electronic Consent
By checking the consent box and proceeding with the Self-Service application, the Applicant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all of the Self-Service Application Terms and Applicant Statement.
Consent provided electronically through the Self-Service service constitutes the Applicant's binding consent to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Governing Legal Provisions
The Applicant agrees that the provisions regarding cancellation or termination as referred to in Articles 1266 and 1267 of the Indonesian Civil Code (KUH Perdata) are waived to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If any provision of this document is determined to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and binding.
11. Final Provisions
These terms constitute an integral part of the BTSE Indonesia Self-Service application process.
By submitting a Self-Service application, the Applicant confirms that they understand all applicable risks, obligations, and terms.
BTSE Indonesia may amend these terms as necessary to address operational, security, compliance, or regulatory changes.
