After successfully creating a BTSE Indonesia account, the next step is to complete identity verification (KYC). This is a required process that allows access to all platform features, including buying and selling crypto assets securely.
To make things more convenient, KYC can now be completed directly through the BTSE Indonesia mobile app, available on both Android and iOS devices.
Don’t Have a BTSE Indonesia Account Yet? Before starting the KYC process, make sure an account has been created by following these steps:
- Download the BTSE Indonesia app from the Google Play Store or App Store
- Open the app and select Login/Sign Up, then click Sign Up
- Enter your email address and create a password (add a referral code if available)
- Click Sign Up, then enter the verification code sent to your email
- Once registration is complete, proceed to KYC Level 1 verification
After the account has been created, the next step is to complete identity verification through the application.
Steps to Complete KYC Level 1:
- Log in to your BTSE Indonesia account through the mobile app
- Click the Profile icon in the top right corneR
- Select Identity Verification, then click Verify KYC Level 1
- Enter phone number
- Select nationality
Indonesian citizens (WNI): prepare a valid KTP
Foreign nationals (WNA): prepare a valid KITAS/KITAP - Complete liveness verification by taking a selfie photo, ensure proper lighting, remove glasses, masks, or accessories, follow the on-screen instructions and keep your face aligned with the camera, click Record and continue until the process is complete
- Upload ID document (JPEG/JPG format)
Ensure the image is clear, not blurry, and all information is readable - Fill in personal information exactly as shown on the ID document
- Click Submit to complete the KYC application
After submission, the system will begin reviewing the application. The verification process is typically completed within a maximum of 1 business day (24 hours).
However, if any information or uploaded document is unclear, incomplete, or does not meet verification standards, a request to resubmit or provide additional information may be required.
Once the review process is completed, the verification result will be sent via email or through a notification in the BTSE Indonesia app.
