Don't have a photo of your physical ID card, or has your ID card been lost? Don't worry. A Digital ID Card can be used for KYC verification on BTSE Indonesia.
In addition to a Digital ID Card, you can also use a photo or scanned copy of your ID card saved in your device gallery, as long as the document is clearly visible and all information on the ID card can be read.
What Documents Can Be Used for KYC?
You can use one of the following options:
1. Digital ID Card
A Digital ID Card can be used as an identification document for the KYC process.
Make sure all information on the Digital ID Card is clearly visible and not cropped during the verification process.
2. Photo or Scanned Copy of Your ID Card
If you have a photo or scanned copy of your ID card saved in your device gallery, you can also use it as long as:
The photo is clear and not blurry.
The entire ID card is visible.
All information on the ID card can be clearly read.
The photo is not cropped or covered.
The document has not been edited or manipulated.
Avoid Using Photocopies of Your ID Card
We recommend not using a photocopy of your ID card, especially a black-and-white photocopy.
Photocopied documents may have lower image quality or make the information on your ID card difficult for the system to read. As a result, the document may not be considered valid or may cause the verification process to fail.
If available, use a Digital ID Card, an original photo of your ID card, or a clear scanned copy of your ID card.
Where Can I Get a Digital ID Card?
A Digital ID Card can be accessed through the Identitas Kependudukan Digital (IKD) application provided by the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil), Ministry of Home Affairs of Indonesia.
If you do not have a Digital ID Card yet, please follow the IKD activation process according to the procedures provided by Dukcapil.
Once your Digital ID Card is available, you can use it as an identification document for KYC verification on BTSE Indonesia, as long as the information is clearly visible and can be verified.
